This will happen when foreign materials will find their way into the pullets and jam them up. You will need to unblock the pulleys manually to get them to rotate again.

A major washing machine problem is when the unit still fills with water or drips heavily even when the machine is turned off. Our next hunt here will be at the back of the washer where the in-let valve for water is fixed. Is the valve is out of water it will allow water from the supply pipe to fill the cloth basket even when the washer is turned off. This is what contributes to the leaks from the basket due to excess water. The right way to handle this is by fixing the valve through replacement. You can revive the spoilt one since it will only get to you losing a lot of water and more drip problems and we don’t want that.

Another washer valve that is prone to problems as well is the water fill valve. This valve controls the levels of water in the washing machine. If it breaks down, the common complaint from distressed consumers is that there washer doesn’t fill to its required level despite more water coming in. A safe bet here is the same old solution, a complete replacement of the valve. The water control valve also works side by side with a tube diaphragm that detects the pressure in water and closes when the pressure equals the expected pressure when the water fills to its required level. The tube diaphragm should also be replaced if it cannot detect the pressure in the water.
